Road closures for July 4th

The town of Peacham looks forward to hosting you on the Fourth of July for our many events on Saturday. The tractor parade is always a great draw and we wish to alert you to some parking issues.

Parking in the village will be available until 10:45 AM behind the PHA archives. There will be guides to help you get there. After 10:45 AM, all of the access roads to the Peacham Village will be closed to insure safe passage of the parade participants. After that,  roadside parking will be the only available option. We urge you to come prior to 10:45 AM if you wish to Park within the village.

The following roads we closed at 10:45:

Bayley Hazen Road, coming from Danville, will be closed as you enter the village.

S. Main St, coming up from South Peacham, will close just after the entrance to Elkins Way.

Academy Hill Road, from the west of Peacham, will close just before the entrance to the cemetery.

Mack Mountain Road, coming into town from the Cabot area, will close just before fire station on Peacham Green.

We urge you to come early. Please be aware that many of the roads leading into Peacham have deep drainage ditches along the side of the road. Please use caution in parking and exiting your vehicle.

We look forward to seeing you there!
